whYJay - WHOSWHYJAY? Mixtape

whYJay is one of my favourite spitters from Manchester right now, it seems like every week he's either realising a video, doing a freestyle, jumping on a set or performing live, and now his much anticipated mix-tape WHOSWHYJAY? is finally out now for free download. This is a collection of some real tracks that cover intelligent subjects rather than the usual guns and bitches that seem to be what every MC these days seem to think people want to hear. I think my favourite track on the mix-tape has to either Balance or Myself, whYJay is breath of fresh air in a slightly stale scene right now with his unique flow and hard lyrics he is defiantly the difference between a YouTube Mc and an artist, whichis good since most people seem to have forgotten the difference. Not to mention this mix-tape has features from the likes of Predz, CDot, Sin Seer and Mr Meening, as well as producers such as Dirtklod, Riddle and Katapullt. This is defiantly going to be on regular rotation on my iPod for the next six months. Go get it now!

Nutty - Ft. whYJay, Dorris & Predz (Prod. By Dirtklod)

The Spotworks Recordings gang have been putting out some utter bangers right about now, what with Greef and Sin Seer releasing On Another Beat earlier this month and the North Manny link up North of The Compass last month, and now with Nutty featuring whYjay, Dorris and Predz. The beat is pure madness made simply to skank to while out of your mind! As if that wasn't enough three of Manchester's top Grime Mcs are spraying some of their best lyrics I'v heard in a while. This track is quite honestly my favourite thing since Snoopy and Anoyed put out Devil in My Mind. Not to mention the insane video to accompany it is a who's who of recording artists at Spotworks. Produced by the one and only Dirtklod.

Sweeney, Predz, whYJay, C-Dot & Dirtklod - Performing LIVE at the MancKind Launch Night

First off I'd like to thank everyone who came down Dry Live to MancKind as it fully went off! Every artist that performed tore the place down, shout out to Dorris and Sin Seer for putting the event together! If you missed this one make sure you make the next one!
Where can I start with this set? Every man went in harder than Nokia 3310! If your familiar with Dirtklod's Klodcasts then like me you will know these guys do this all day long and most of the night too. Sweeney, Predz, whYjay and C Dot have all earned their status's in the Grime scene as MONSTERS and I think this set just proves this. Oh and once again Driklod is flawless on the decks.

No Mics Needed - Xtra, Sweeney, Jmicc, Magiic, Kdot, Sir Frost & B.O.W.Z Cypher

Jhhheeeeezzzzz this is a madness right here! What a cypher this is, this all star line up includes Xtra, Magiic, K Dot, Sweeney, B.O.W.Z, JMicc and Sir Frost. Every man went 100% in hard, and murdered the beat! It was filmed after the legendary first Manckind, and if you don't know about then where have you been? Its only Manchester's finest Grime event! Get down to the next one.
